Dog Waving Paw
  • What are your qualifications?
I have a diploma in: Dog Walking, Pet Sitting & Canine Communication. Additionally, I am certified in ITC for dogs and hold a certificate in Pet First Aid. I am constantly learning and will be attending courses regularly to keep my practices and knowledge up to date.
  • How do I know what service to use?
I offer a variety of services. If you're uncertain about which one is right for you, please reach out to me. We can discuss the options to ensure your pets needs and requirements are met.
  • What is the meet and greet visit?
This visit serves as an opportunity for you, your pet, and me to become acquainted. It gives your pet a chance to "sniff me out" and allows us to begin building a rapport. During this time, you can ask any questions and evaluate if my services meet your needs. This introductory meeting is complimentary and comes with no obligation to utilise my services afterward. Typically, these visits are scheduled for evenings and take place in your home, unless arranged otherwise.
  • How many dogs do you walk at one time?
On my group walks, I limit the number to no more than five dogs to guarantee their safety.
  • What is the process for booking?
Please call / email / direct message me and we will organise a meet and greet.
  • What time do you walk my dog and for how long?
I walk dogs Monday to Friday and take bookings for time slots.(Pick up time is normally between a 2 hour slot) Dogs are walked for 30 or 60 minutes this does not include the pickup and drop off. This means your dog may be in my care for up to 2 hours for a 60-minute walk.
  • Do I need to be at home to let you in?
No. I have a full disclosure to make you feel confident and comfortable. I am happy to hold a key. (This can also come in handy if you lose yours).
  • Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured and can take my certificates with me to our meet and greet.
  • Can you do weekend walks?
I don’t currently offer regular weekend walks, but I do offer adventure days. Please check my social medias to see when these are. If you do require weekend walks please get in touch and I will see if I can help meet your requirements.
  • Do you wash my dog?
Muddy paws often mark the end of a fantastic walk... given Scotland's changeable weather, muddy paws are sometimes inevitable. While I strive to rinse, wipe, and dry paws, a full dog wash isn't feasible due to the presence of other dogs awaiting their return in my vehicle. Rest assured, I'll make every effort to clean off any muck. During our initial meet-and-greet, we can discuss any specific needs your pet may have in case they get wet, such as being wrapped in a towel or placed in a designated room.
  • Does my dog get a full hour walk or is travel time in the car included in their hour?
Your dog will receive a complete hour of walking time. Transportation time is not included in their walk duration.
  • When and how do I pay?
I will send invoices via email to you on the last week of the month and ask for payment to be made in 3 working days.
